Maurice practices as independent legal counsel to the firm and has a wide experience in law, but chooses to focus on commercial and business law and on real estate law, together with wills and estates. He was formerly President of Oxford Quebec, a division of Oxford Properties. He managed large real estate projects in Montreal, including office towers, shopping centres and other institutional properties.
The experience of being on the client’s side of the desk has been invaluable in developing his emphasis on results – and on keeping things simple, even when the circumstances are complex. This hands-on perspective also accounts for Maurice’s appreciation for the importance of relationships in the problem-solving process.
A collegial, collaborative approach characterizes his philosophy of carrying on his practice – it is well-suited to all levels of law, whether in an urban or a rural setting.
